Q&A with Rosie Beattie, Interiors Designer

Rosie Beattie is an inventive interiors designer from Lancashire. Her passion for the craft times back to her early days in her grandmother’s bedroom. She remembers the Victorian furniture and art deco pieces from her grandparents and great grandparents and the mix and muddle of styles and how they complimented each other.

How is your process of creation?

I usually start with the moodboarding and conceptualisation of a new collection. Usually that begins way earlier when I start taking photographs and sketching unusual and fluid ideas for shapes.

What inspires you?

The Earth is my biggest inspiration and influence. The colours and textures of the earth and skies, lakes and mountains, sunrises and sunsets never fails to inspire me.
